After over a month on the shelf, Zach Bogosian looks to be ready to rejoin the Winnipeg Jets when they host the Florida Panthers on Friday.

The 23-year-old defenceman, who hasn’t played since sustaining an injury on Nov. 15, skated hard when the Jets practiced at MTS Centre this morning, and coach Claude Noel later confirmed Bogo would likely figure into the line-up on Friday.

“I felt good today, I’ve felt good for a couple of days now,” Bogosian said after practice. “Anytime you come back in the lineup, you try to play your game and help out the team as much as possible, and that’s what I plan on doing when I do come back.”

He rejoins a team scrambling for answers, after dropping a messy one to the Buffalo Sabres and not having won at home since Nov. 15. In the wake of the last struggling weeks, Blake Wheeler famously called out the team in the press, but Bryan Little said what matters most is what they’re saying amongst themselves.

“A lot’s been said. That’s the whole point, there’s a lot of talk going around the dressing room about what we have to do to change it, and what we can do,” Little said. “It’s tough. It is like a pattern the way we’re playing right now. It’s tough to get out of those situations. We’re trying to. We don’t go into a game thinking we’re going to play good in the first and take it easy some of the game. You try to play your best every night… so right now we’re trying to figure out what the problem is and how to fix it.”

Forward Devin Setoguchi put in extra work after practice, and coach wouldn’t say whether Setoguchi would certainly figure in the lineup on Friday. “That’ll be determined tomorrow,” Noel said.
