The Blue Bombers made a couple of changes to their roster on Thursday, releasing two and signing import defensive back Ryan Steed.
Steed, a 5-11, 185 lb. North Carolinan, flirted with the CFL last season, signing with Calgary and spending time on Saskatchewan’s practice roster.
The 25-year-old played four seasons at Furman, and was voted an All-American in 2011, his senior year. In 2012 he went undrafted, and bounced around a handful of NFL rosters.
The Bombers also released import defensive lineman Greg Hickman, and import receiver Justin Wilson.
