The Winnipeg Jets will be without three key forwards as they open a week with three games, two of them against Central-Division rivals.

Mark Scheifele, Drew Stafford and Adam Lowry — all out of the lineup for Friday’s 1-0 win over the Minnesota Wild in St. Paul – were not on the ice Sunday at MTS Centre will likely not be available for Monday’s match-up with the Colorado Avalanche (7 p.m.; TSN3/TSN1290). Lowry and Drew Stafford have been placed on injured reserve, retroactive to Jan. 14, with upper-body injuries while Patrice Cormier and JC Lipons were recalled from the Manitoba Moose.

Scheifele has been out with a lower-body injury since slamming into the end boards in Dallas on Jan. 7th, but both Stafford and Lowry were late scratches from the win over Minny that saw Adam Pardy converted from defence to forward to skate on the team’s fourth line.
