Hey there, time traveller!

The Jets needed a win at home, and they needed one badly.
After a number of promising games at the MTS Centre of late, games where the Jets seemingly put forth an effort good enough to earn a win, only to lose in dramatic fashion late, Winnipeg was finally rewarded for their efforts Saturday.
Mark Scheifele broke a 2-2 tie 13 minutes into the third period and then added the insurance marker in the final moment, putting home his third goal of the game into an empty net en route to a 4-2 win over the Montreal Canadiens.
With the win, the Jets improve to 27-32-5 on the year. More importantly, Winnipeg snaps a six-game losing streak at home. The last time the Jets picked up two points at the MTS Centre was a 5-2 win over Arizona Coyotes back on Jan. 26.
Scheifele opened the scoring in the second period, a 1-0 lead that would be erased just over a minute later with a goal from Alex Galchenyuk. Galchenyuk would do the same thing in the third period after Andrew Copp gave the Jets a 2-1 lead with his second goal in three games.
Ondrej Pavelec made 26 saves to earn the win for the Jets, improving his overall season record to 7-9-2. Mike Condon stopped 25 pucks in the loss to drop to 16-19-6.
