Hey there, time traveller!

It was another fruitless effort by the Winnipeg Jets, who fell 2-1 to the visiting Edmonton Oilers at the MTS Centre Sunday night.
With the loss, the Jets fall to 27-33-5 and have now lost seven of their last eight games at home. The Oilers improve to 26-35-7, winning their fourth game in the last five.
Neither team found the scoresheet in the first and third periods, combining for all three goals in the second frame. Patrick Maroon and Lauri Korpokoski scored for Edmonton, while Mark Scheifele extended his scoring streak to three games with the Jets’ lone goal.
Maroon opened the scoring with his sixth of the season at the 5:25 mark of the middle period, beating Ondrej Pavelec with a quick shot in front that was set up with a nifty pass from Taylor Hall. Scheifele evened the score less than a minute later but Korpikoski would eventually regain the lead with his eighth late in the frame.
Talbot made 39 saves to earn his fourth straight win, improving to 16-22-4 on the year. Pavelec finished with 29 saves in the loss to fall to 7-10-2.
