The Winnipeg Jets trail the Anaheim Ducks 1-0 after two periods of play at the Honda Centre in California.
Corey Perry fired his 33rd goal of the season at 13:33 of the opening period, a power-play marker assisted by Ryan Getzlaf and Sami Vatanen.
Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson has made 16 saves, while Winnipeg has fired 20 shots at Ducks goalie John Gibson.

ABOUT THE DUCKS
Anaheim is coming off a 3-1 win over Dallas Sunday at the Honda Center and is 6-3-1 in its last 10.
The Ducks are 32-9-4 in their last 45 games and since Christmas own the best overall record (32-9-4), road record (15-4-3) and the second-best home record (17-5-1).
John Gibson backstopped the Ducks to the win Sunday, kicking out 25 of 26 shots. He now has 20 wins, tying him with Montreal’s Mike Condon for most victories by a rookie goaltender.
The game was the 800th in Corey Perry’s career, all with the Ducks. He joins Teemu Selanne (966) as the only two players to reach the 800-game milestone with Anaheim.
Anaheim owns both the NHL’s best power play (23.2 per cent, heading into Monday’s action) and penalty kill (86.9 per cent).
The Ducks have two ex-Jets on their coaching staff from two different eras. Rich Preston was part of the WHA Jets, helping them to the last Avco Cup title in 1978-79 as the playoff MVP while Paul Maclean played in Winnipeg from 1981-87 and had 101 points (41 goals, 60 assists) in 1984-85 en route to being named to the Campbell Conference all-star team.
