Voters must bring an accepted form of ID, which could be a voter information card, a bank statement, a driver’s licence or a birth certificate.

People can also vote early at any Elections Canada office any day before April 23, or vote by mail if they register by April 22.

Elections Canada says once someone applies to vote by mail, they can’t vote at advance polls or on election day.
