THE governing NDP holds a slight edge in the latest polling as Manitobans get set to cast their ballots today.

According to an Angus Reid online survey released Monday, 46 per cent of decided voters (and those leaning towards a particular party) plan to vote New Democrat, while 43 per cent intend to vote Conservative.

The results are identical to those obtained in a Free Press/Probe Research poll released on Friday.

Eight per cent of decided or leaning voters in the Angus Reid poll plan to vote for the Liberals, while three per cent plan to vote for the Green party.

Eight hundred Manitobans took part in the survey, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points 19 times out of 20.
