Juicy number
The Bombers are +6 in the turnover ratio after two games, forcing three fumbles, intercepting four passes and a turnover on downs while turning the ball over twice on their own. Winnipeg was a -13 at the same time last season and didn’t register its fourth interception until Week 4.
Ouch update
WR Arjei Franklin (ankle) is doubtful for the Ticats while RB Fred Reid (ankle) and LB Siddeeq Shabazz (cramp) should be good to go. LB Joe Lobendahn (shoulder) is still questionable while DT Doug Brown and DE Riall Johnson are close to returning to practice.
From the other side
"We’re not a very good football team right now, and I think everyone in the CFL understands that. And I made sure everyone in that locker-room understood that, if they didn’t already. That means that we need to work hard and do what we need to do to get better. Real quick." — Stampeders’ head coach John Hufnagel.
