Bumps and bruises

Bombers coach Mike Kelly said his club came out of the game mostly unscathed, but newcomer Odell Willis will miss the first few days of practice with a leg injury.

Coming back

Kelly intimated that veteran receiver Terrence Edwards would likely be back in action this weekend when the Bombers host the Edmonton Eskimos.

First to third

Bombers running back Fred Reid entered the weekend leading the CFL in rushing but only picked up 60 yards on Saturday against the Argos and is now third with 986 yards, behind Montreal’s Avon Cobourne (1,043) and Martel Mallett of B.C. (1,005).
