Bombers fined for antisocial behaviour

A trio of Winnipeg Blue Bombers players have been fined by the CFL for their actions during the fourth quarter of last Sunday's 27-7 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina.

A trio of Winnipeg Blue Bombers players have been fined by the CFL for their actions during the fourth quarter of last Sunday’s 27-7 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina.

The league has fined receivers Greg Carr and Cory Watson and defensive back Brandon Stewart.

Watson and Stewart were both ejected from Sunday’s game and were fined for throwing punches. Carr was fined for a dangerous tackle in the final minute of the fourth quarter on Riders linebacker Jerrell Freeman, who had just intercepted an Alex Brink pass.
