THE full look won’t be officially unveiled until next month, but Winnipeg Jets fans eager for a glimpse of the team’s new uniforms may have received a sneak peek, courtesy of Blake Wheeler.

The Jets’ forward unveiled a photo of the team’s new pants via his Twitter account Tuesday. The pants are navy blue, with the Jets’ script logo featured at the bottom of the right leg. The left leg features the ‘W’ from Warrior Hockey, the manufacturer.

On Monday, Wheeler Tweeted: “No jerseys for a while. Just got pants and gloves from Warrior… I’ll throw some pics on tomorrow,” before posting the pants photo Tuesday afternoon.

Since June, the Jets have repeatedly said the jerseys won’t be unveiled until September and the expectation now is the team’s prospects will first wear them at the NHL Young Stars tournament in Penticton, B.C., Sept. 11-15.
