About the Devils: New Jersey snapped a three-game losing skid with a 4-3 shootout win over Philadelphia on Thursday… Devils leading scorer is Patrik Elias, who has 10 points (5G, 5A), including two PP goals and one short-handed… Former Thrasher Ilya Kovalchuk has just two goals in 11 games and is minus-5. After leaving Thursday’s game against Philadelphia in the third period with a lower-body injury his status for tonight’s game is uncertain… NJ’s top line features Kovalchuk, Zach Parise and rookie Adam Henrique, who combined for two goals and three assists in the win over Philly… Future Hall of Famer Martin Brodeur is scheduled to start in goal.
