San Jose is 4-0-1 in January… The Sharks penalty-killing is ranked just 28th in the NHL, ahead of only Columbus and Toronto… Antti Niemi has seen the bulk of the work in the Sharks’ net and sports an 18-7-5 record with a .917 save percentage and goals against average of 2.33… Patrick Marleau (16G, 19A) and Joe Thornton (8G, 27A) are tied for the club lead in scoring with 35 points each.
