Hey there, time traveller!

SICK BAY UPDATE: Safety Ian Logan and linebacker Ike Charlton are expected back on the field Thursday. Only three players are currently out for Saturday: QB Ryan Dinwiddie (high-ankle sprain), CB Willie Amos (hamstring) and OL Ryan Donnelly, who will have season-ending surgery on his knee this week.
CHEW ON THIS: Winnipeg is 8-2 in its last 10 home playoff dates — the lone blemishes the 2003 West Semifinal loss to Saskatchewan and the 1994 East Final loss to Baltimore.
JUST FYI: Bomber RB Daryl Stephenson, who rejoined the club following his college season at Windsor, was named to the OUA second all-star team this week. And University of Manitoba defensive tackle Don Oramasionwu, drafted by the Bombers in the fifth round this year, was selected to the Canada West all-star team.
ED TAIT THINKS YOU SHOULD KNOW…
THE STEGALL GUARANTEE: Eskimos head coach Danny Maciocia had a chuckle or two over Milt Stegall’s guarantee of a Bombers victory on Saturday IF the stadium is sold out.
“I think he’s got a cut on the gate,” Maciocia told Edmonton reporters. “Take a good hard look at it. That’s the first time I’ve heard a guaranteed win with a sell-out crowd, so he’s got a cut on the gate.
“That just makes it tougher on someone like myself and our organization because now players are going to come back and try and negotiate contracts where they can get a cut on the gate,” Maciocia added, tongue in cheek. “Pretty smart move from his end, I think.
“Because Milt Stegall guaranteed a win IF they’re sold out. Maybe what we’ll do is we’ll get there, watch pre-game warmup … IF it’s not a capacity crowd we like our chances.”
Asked for his reaction to the Stegall guarantee, Bombers coach Doug Berry said he ‘just shrugged it off.’ Then, after leaving his daily media scrum he yelled out in mock anger: ‘Stegall! Where are you?’
