Hey there, time traveller!

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers should be clearing out some of their crowded infirmary just in time for Saturday’s East Division Semifinal against the Edmonton Eskimos.
Head coach Doug Berry said after today’s practice that safety Ian Logan and linebacker Ike Charlton — both of whom were injured in last week’s win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats — should be back on the field working out with the team tomorrow.
If Logan and Charlton, both starters, can survive practice they’ll likely return to the lineup for the semifinal. If they can’t, Jason Nugent was lining up at safety with Kelly Malveaux playing in Charlton’s outside linebacker spot.
At the same time, defensive back Anthony Malbrough has resumed practising and while Milt Stegall, Terrence Edwards and Derick Armstrong have just been spectators all week, all of them will be in the lineup against Edmonton.
Berry said only three players have already been confirmed as not playing on Saturday: quarterback Ryan Dinwiddie (high-ankle sprain), cornerback Willie Amos (hamstring) and offensive lineman Ryan Donnelly, who will have season-ending surgery on his knee this week.
Meanwhile, Bomber kicker Alexis Serna was named the CFL’s Special Teams Player of the Week after connecting on all four of his field goals in the win over Hamilton — including 51 and 43 yarders — while punting 10 times for 443 yards.
