The mother of a woman reported missing by police says she fears for her daughter’s life and is desperate for her safe return.
“It’s horrifying. It’s a mother’s worst nightmare. Her life has been threatened and I am afraid for her, and everybody else should be too” Crystal Loden, 44, said by phone Saturday.
Manitoba RCMP deemed 28-year-old Breanna Lee Hudson a missing person Thursday evening.

RCMP HANDOUT Breanna Hudson
Investigators determined Shaquille MacFarlane picked Hudson up from Ile des Chênes in the early hours of Thursday morning, police said in a Friday release.
The community is located roughly 12 kilometres south of Winnipeg and is home to 1,606 people, according to Census data.
MacFarlane, 29, has warrants for his arrest for two counts of uttering threats and one count of assault, extortion and obstruction of justice. He is also wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for allegedly breaching bail conditions, police said.
MacFarlane and Hudson are married, Loden said.
She could not provide specifics about the ongoing investigation, but said “due to circumstances that happened throughout the day (Thursday),” she believes her daughter’s life is at risk.
“I’m trying to raise awareness so people who may see her, or know her whereabouts, understand that she may seem like she is not in danger, but she really is,” she said.
Hudson is a mother to one child from a separate relationship. The 8-year-old girl is safe, and was not present when Hudson left Ile des Chênes, Loden said.
Police said MacFarlane and Hudson may be travelling in a black pickup truck. They could be in the Winnipeg area or attempting to travel to Calgary.
“The RCMP believes that they are still travelling together and that Shaquille MacFarlane is actively evading police. Breanna’s family and police remain very concerned for her safety and well being,” RCMP spokesperson Robert Cyrenne said in an email Saturday.

RCMP HANDOUT Police are searching for Breanna Hudson and Shaquille MacFarlane.
Their location is currently unknown, but police have received numerous tips since issuing the press release.
“All tips will be investigated,” Cyrenne said.
Hudson is 5’4” and has brown hair and blue eyes. She is not facing any charges, he said.
MacFarlane is 5’10” and 160 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Hudson and/or MacFarlane is asked to call St-Pierre-Jolys RCMP at 204-433-7433 or the nearest police service.
