Riall shifts

Bombers coach Mike Kelly said Riall Johnson will get some work at linebacker when the team uses a 3-4 defensive format on Saturday. Canadian linebacker Pierre-Luc Labbé is expected to be out with a knee injury for a month.

Wind chimes

Kelly on Craphonso Thorpe not returning kicks last Friday: "He struggled with the wind in the pre-game and once the game started at full speed… he realized it was more difficult than he expected," explained Kelly.

CFL slams Kelly

Blue Bombers coach Mike Kelly was fined $1,000 by the CFL on Tuesday for his tirade on officials in last Friday’s loss to the Toronto Argonauts. Kelly disagreed with a call in the first quarter that was reviewed by officials and overturned.
