Bombers sign Regina lineman

The Bombers added non-import offensive lineman Ryan Ackerman, a member last season of the University of Regina Rams, to the practice roster on Thursday. Saskatchewan drafted the 6-foot-3, 298-pound Ackerman, 24, in the fourth round in 2007.

Calvillo says he’s ready to play

Alouettes QB Anthony Calvillo told the Montreal Gazette on Thursday he plans to play this weekend. "The calf felt great," said Calvillo. "Physically, nothing bothered me… As long as nothing happens, I plan on being on the field."

Fred Ex aims to deliver

Running back Fred Reid took part in his first practice this week. "I’m ready to go and hopefully we can get our running game back on track. Some people don’t think we can beat Montreal again, so let’s go see if we can."
