Hey there, time traveller!

HOME SWEET HOME?: The Bombers are 1-1 at Canad Inns, but desperately want to make venturing here a nightmare for opponents. Winnipeg was 4-5 at home last year.
"We said as a team that we wanted this to be a tough place to play and I know there’s going to be a good crowd here that’s going to be loud and make some noise," said head coach Paul LaPolice. "But we have to foster that winning at home. That’s one thing we say: ‘People aren’t intimidated unless you win at home’ and that’s a goal of ours: to continue to win at home."
VIEW FROM THE IGLOO: "The most important thing is at 0-3, fans, media, everyone likes to become irrational and jump out off the deep end," Eskimo linebacker Javy Glatt told the Edmonton Journal. "The reality is if you believe in what you’re doing each and every day, if you believe you’re going about it in the right way, you believe in the direction you’re headed, you stick with it."
QUOTABLE: "I’ve never heard of a lousy win and a pretty loss. All I know is we’re 0-3 right now and they’ve been three ugly losses… At times we’ve played well during those losses, but at the end of the day we’re 0-3." — Eskimo head coach Richie Hall.
GOOD GUYS FINISH FIRST? Former Bomber assistant coach Bob Dyce is getting a lot of love in Regina these days for his work with the Saskatchewan Roughrider offence as the receivers coach and passing game co-ordinator.
"He has coached so many great players already,” wide receiver Rob Bagg told the Regina Leader-Post. "Everything he says I try to absorb. I love him because he’s a players’ coach and he’s always looking out for your best interests. He helps you become a better player and as a young guy that’s all you can ask for."
BAD BOYS: THe Eskimos have been nailed with 36 penalties, second-most in the league to B.C.’s 38. Winnipeg has been hit with 27 infractions, fifth overall.
"Am I in panic mode? No, I’m not because we’ve still got 15 games left but am I in a pissed-off mode? Yes, I am," linebacker Maurice Lloyd told the Edmonton Sun. "You’re going to make mental mistakes, the mental mistakes I don’t get mad at because you’re human. It’s the same mental mistakes that we keep getting week in and week out."

Questions
Left guard Brendon LaBatte did not practice Thursday with Luke Fritz working in his spot. As well, DB Alex Suber was held out and is a no-go for the Eskimos tilt. LaBatte’s status won’t be confirmed until today.
Ouch
Former Bomber receiver Kamau Peterson, the CFL’s top Canadian in 2008, was placed on the nine-game injured list Thursday with a slight Achilles tear.
Strange, but true
The winless Eskimos are averaging 300.7 yards passing per game — tied for second in the CFL with Montreal and just behind Saskatchewan at 323.7.
