ARGONAUTS 27 BOMBERS 8
Next game: Game 17, Winnipeg at Edmonton, Saturday, Oct. 30th, 6 p.m. CT, TSN/CJOB
KEY PLAY
Bombers trail 10-5 near the end of the first half when head coach Paul LaPolice surprisingly opts to have Justin Palardy attempt a 51-yard field goal. Kick is short and Argo ace returner Chad Owens does his magic again with a 109-yard missed field goal return for a TD and a 17-5 advantage.
KEY PLAYER
Argo QB Cleo Lemon threw for a TD and ran for another score. No one is carving out his bust for a spot in the hall of fame, but he is 3-0 vs. the Bombers this year and taking his team to the playoffs.
KEY STAT
12 – Losses for the Bombers this season, the most by a Bomber team since the 2005 squad finished 5-13 and last in the West Division.
