Just In Time
The club added another receiver to its group of pass catchers, signing WR Alex Watson Monday. Watson, a 5-foot-9, 185-pound import out of Northern Arizona, looked good in his camp debut.
Numbers Game
CFL clubs are required to trim down training camp rosters to 68 players by 11 p.m. today. The Bombers had 79 players in camp Monday. The cuts won’t be that deep, though, as all 2011 draft picks and CIS free agents (which accounts for nine players) are exempt from the final tally.
