Today’s Homemade Holidays recipe is an easy, crowd-pleasing classic. Also known as clodhoppers, this big batch of White Chocolate Treats requires no baking and few kitchen tools.
“It is a go-to for bake sales and quick treats for a hostess gift at Christmastime. It is so simple!” says submitter Leianne Lea.

White Chocolate Treats

Ingredients
- 750 ml (3 cups) white chocolate wafers or (2 ⅔ cups) white chocolate chips
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) oil
- 500 ml (2 cups) salted mixed nuts or peanuts
- 1 L (4 cups) Golden Grahams cereal
Directions
- Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate with 15 ml (1 tbsp) of oil. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between.
- Stir the cereal and nuts into the melted chocolate.
- Spread mixture over the parchment-lined cookie sheet and let cool completely. Break into clusters when ready to serve.
