WINNIPEG – It will be a quiet day on the campaign trail, with just over a week to go before voting day.

The only provincial leader making an election pledge is Liberal Leader Jon Gerrard, who will announce his party’s environmental plan — including a pledge to clean up Lake Winnipeg — at noon.

Conservative Leader Hugh McFadyen will stop by the temple at the Sikh Society of Winnipeg this afternoon. That’s his only public event.

Meanwhile, NDP Leader Greg Selinger will attend a police memorial at the Manitoba Legislature this morning and then rally his campaign workers and candidates at an event this afternoon at the Park Theatre.
