Hey there, time traveller!
This article was published 20/03/2016 (3529 days ago), so information in it may no longer be current.
Dear Miss Lonelyhearts: I woke up and saw a vision at the end of my bed in the moonlight. It was my deceased husband, and he had his hands up and was saying to me and my new man who was sleeping in the bed: “He’s not good for you. He’s not the one.” At first I was frightened, and then I was annoyed at the interference. I said very clearly, “Go away and never come back!” My husband was always interfering in everything I did in my life, and now he was back interfering even after his death.
Do you think he will stay away now I have have spoken to him like that, telling him to go away? My new man woke up and said, “Did you just tell me to go away?” I said no, and then tried to explain to him who I saw at the end of the bed.
He knew my ex-husband before he died, and said he felt “caught” and “guilty.” He couldn’t get back to sleep, thinking my ex could come into the room and look at us in bed.
He ended up going home about 6 a.m. saying he couldn’t stay and probably wouldn’t be back. He is a very nice man, but that was the limit for him. I come from a very spiritual family and we have ESP up the yin-yang and “normal” people find it freakish. I have left him alone, and he has not called me. Should I call him? I really miss him!
— Ghost’s Widow, St. Boniface
Dear Ghost’s Widow: Call him, but don’t ask him to come over for a rehash of that night. Do ask if he can get past this stuff and go out to a fun place for a drink or coffee during the day. Tell him you understand if he doesn’t want any more of your family stuff in his life, but you like him as a person and have fun spending time together. Be completely open about your family and you, and how things manifest themselves to you.
He will probably continue to opt out of a big relationship, but then again he may just need a little more understanding of the situation. If he’s negative or scared, then don’t contact him again. As for the presence you felt you saw, and to whom you spoke so loudly and negatively, it’s not likely you’ll see him again, according to psychic types. Mediums usually advise people to speak to “ghosts” and tell them “It’s time to move along now!” You certainly did that, and loudly.
