Today’s Homemade Holidays recipe is an easy, crowd-pleasing classic. Also known as clodhoppers, this big batch of White Chocolate Treats requires no baking and few kitchen tools.

“It is a go-to for bake sales and quick treats for a hostess gift at Christmastime. It is so simple!” says submitter Leianne Lea.

White Chocolate Treats

Ingredients

  • 750 ml (3 cups) white chocolate wafers or (2 ⅔ cups) white chocolate chips
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) oil
  • 500 ml (2 cups) salted mixed nuts or peanuts
  • 1 L (4 cups) Golden Grahams cereal

Directions

  1. Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate with 15 ml (1 tbsp) of oil. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between.
  3. Stir the cereal and nuts into the melted chocolate.
  4. Spread mixture over the parchment-lined cookie sheet and let cool completely. Break into clusters when ready to serve.
