Hey there, time traveller!

Dear Miss Lonelyhearts: I’m a shy woman who is passionately in love with a guy at work. I am serious when I say “in love” because we work on many projects together and even travel together to conferences. He’s a by-the-book kind of guy and that just makes me wants to kiss him senseless and shake his morals right up. He would be so cute quoting chapter and verse at me if I went over the line.
I know he likes me too. He tries not to, but his body betrays him. Also, I can make him laugh until he has tears running out of his eyes. The problem is we work in a very old-fashioned firm. I think he might ask me out if I didn’t work here, but I love my job. What should I do?
— Seriously in Love, Winnipeg
Dear Seriously in Love: Do you think this might be the love of your life? Then ask him if he has feelings for you. If he does, then there’s a work problem, and you might look for a job in a different firm, if necessary. But these days, there are lots of couples who have romances and work in the same firm. One couple I heard of went to the head of the company and explained the situation and asked what they should do. The boss said they had to agree that if they encountered problems in their relationship they would come back and talk to him, then be reassigned to different work duties so they didn’t have to work together.
